The Max Mara group chose Studiopepe for creative consulting for the interiors of their flagship store in Milan on Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The consulting involved the study of a chromatic palette and the selection of furnishing materials: dusty hues, basic materials such as ceramic tiling, sorbet-inspired colors paired with some brighter, almost acid tones, chosen to make a statement. The final result is a store with a distinctive use of colour, yet never over the top, balanced through its stylistic dichotomy with rough finishing, vintage elements, and the use of unexpected industrial materials. The Studio’s collaboration with Max&Co. has continued, in the design of window displays for the Milan flagship store, as well as site specific installations for the brand’s other stores.
Since A/W 2012 collection, the collaboration includes designing the window displays, with a site-specific installation.
